Who can join? 申請入會資格

Hong Kong Young Chefs Club membership is open to young chefs 18 to 25 years of age employed in kitchens or students enrolled in a culinary-related program in Hong Kong. Membership fees are HK$200 per year*. On getting full-time employment, he/she will progress to become the Young Professional Member (under Hong Kong Chefs Association) and the category subscription fee will apply.

Hong Kong residents aged 18 to 25 when applying;

1. HKYCC Membership (Student):

Students that aged 18-25 at the time of application/renewal; currently enrolled in a culinary- or hospitality-related post-secondary program in Hong Kong can join as HKYCC Member.
On getting full-time employment, he/she will progress to become the Young Professional Member and the category subscription fee will apply. They can join the activities and events of the Club, or by nomination, join the HKCA events for free or with special YC rates.
This category of membership does not have voting rights at HKCA.
Annual Subscription Fee: $200

2. Young Professional (HKCA Member):

A Young Professional member is a young chef who is aged 18-25, with less than three years full-time employment. A Young Professional member will progress to Professional Membership upon completion of three years full-time employment or when they reached 25yr of age, which ever come first. They are entitled to join the YCC events and activities, or join the HKCA events for free or with special rates.
Annual Subscription Fee: $300

HKYCC membership fees are HK$200 per year.

Young Professional (HKCA Member) membership fees are HK$300 per year.

HKYCC members are junior members of the Hong Kong Chefs Association (HKCA) and can join any of their activities as a full member. You will also receive the bi-monthly Toque'n Wok newsletter.

Being part of HKYCC helps to get you better prepared for your future career as a chef. You'll get to meet professional chefs and learn more about our profession. You'll also get the chance to compete in culinary competitions, both locally and overseas. Plus, it's easier to find a good job if you know chefs out there!
